David and Heather are an owner-operated dual-captain couple. They left corporate life behind and chose the island as home — starting with their villa, and then with Stella Blue.
Lifelong boaters, they've sailed Stella Blue from the Bahamas to Florida, through the Virgin Islands, and all the way to Grenada — with Stella the dog onboard for every passage. They love sharing the best beaches, bars, and quiet anchorages of the Virgin Islands with their guests.

Guests are hosted by a dual-captain couple with lifelong boating experience and extensive time sailing Stella Blue through the Bahamas, Florida, the Virgin Islands, and Grenada.
Both David and Heather are licensed captains. Two captains aboard means redundancy at the helm, in safety, and in hospitality — a quiet kind of professionalism you feel as soon as you step aboard.
First Mate
Stella.
Stella is the boat's beloved 10-year-old tri-color Springer Spaniel — calm, sweet, well-trained, and happiest finding the best nap spot onboard. Dog lovers often find that Stella makes the charter feel even more like home.
